The artists name is shown but is not too large therefore not distracting from the image, the albums name is also in the same style thus creating fluidity. Whereas if the font style was different it wouldn't fit in and wouldn't look like a finished product. The album cover follows the typical conventions of an album cover, as they haven't created a controversial piece of art, but cleverly has still made it like it's meant to be a piece of art. Her image is striking as the background is plain and she has a tint of yellow which fits in with the colour of the text. The album cover looks like a piece of pop art, which is code for her success as famous people, mainly, Marilyn Monroe have been featured in pop art.
